Everyone is talking about diversity. Most job specifications require it and there are barely any briefings during which the topic doesn’t come up. There is a growing number of specifications that require at least a third of all candidates on the longlist to be “diverse”. We all agree that diversity is enriching. A mixture of genders and cultures generates new potential and promotes mutual understanding. The question of whether predefined quotas are a success is also being discussed by politicians. But one thing is certain: If the recruitment firm itself is “diverse”, as is the case with our firm, then this is a definite advantage.
