Powerful women’s strength over the rooftops of Basel
In October, around 25 members of WOMEN FOR THE BOARD had an inspiring exchange with Madeleine Stöckli Müller. Above the rooftops of Basel, Madeleine shared fascinating insights from her daily life as Chairwoman, Board Member, and Supervisory Board Member in her unmistakable style – marked by authenticity and clarity. She openly answered our questions and encouraged us in our commitment to more diversity and competence on boards.

Diversity is Key! A well-composed board not only takes into account different competencies but also age and background. Diversity makes us stronger!
A High-Performance Team with Fun: Board members should actively embody company culture and values motivating each other.
Overcoming Challenges: Flexibility is essential – or as Madeleine aptly put it: "When it rains, it pours."
Competence-based Recruitment is a Must: There's still a lot of potential here that we can continue to tap into together.
