In order to meet sophisticated customer requirements while remaining competitive, our client committed themselves to expand their range of services. This required new roles, new profiles and new profile requirements. Newly created positions require a higher and different set of qualifications. How does this affect the company’s salary structure? Where does the company need to position itself in terms of salaries in order to be able to successfully fill the required vacancies while remaining appealing within its current market? 

Our task was to examine the salary structures for the predefined roles among competitors. As a result, we presented our client with a detailed Market Mapping which featured salary structures ranging from base salaries and variable remuneration to company car policies and other fringe benefits, including holiday allowances etc. This Salary Benchmark not only allowed the qualification requirements to be adapted to the job profiles; it also allowed salaries to be defined that are tailored to the market and industry. This served our client as a basis for a targeted recruitment approach. Our commitment has already paid off: The first few positions have already successfully been filled – thanks in part to the appealing salaries tailored to the market that were able to be defined in a competitive and attractive manner.
