Dear business partners

Fleeing and arriving in a foreign country, living in another culture and waiting for a decision on whether you will be allowed to remain in this country or be sent back – all without being permitted to work. The days and nights stretch out endlessly, turning everyday life into an ordeal.

The Rehovot Association, a leather workshop, tackled this issue as early on as the eighties and developed an employment scheme aimed at physically and mentally impaired asylum seekers. Working in the leather workshop provides them with support and a purpose in what is often a depressing situation.

The leather workshop has grown over the years with the acquisition of new machines and the development and manufacture of new and improved products. The product range now includes sandals, bags, backpacks, belts, wallets, purses and key chains. The workshop also offers fabric and leather repairs as well as clothing alterations, making it well worth a shopping trip.

Our employees were given the opportunity to select a product from this fantastic leather workshop as a Christmas gift and were spoilt for choice.

We believe that it will benefit everyone if we support this project with an additional financial donation instead of sending our customers and business partners Christmas cards and gifts.

We wish all our clients and business partners a successful new year, and we look forward to another year of challenging search assignments and assessments.

Warmest regards, your MPB
